How Many Bundles Do I Need For A Sew In?

How Many Bundles Do I Need For A Sew In?

One of the questions I hear the most when it comes to sew ins is, how many bundles do I need.

The number of bundles you use for your sew in is going to determine how full your sew in looks.

No need to worry, we’ve got you covered. We know how important your hair is to you so we’re here to teach you  how many bundles to use for best results.

Sew-Ins are a great way to make your hair look natural while adding length and volume.

Sew ins are durable and provide great protection for your natural hair. You just need to take extra care of the Sew-In to make sure they don’t break or pull your hair out. You can now wear long, beautiful, and gorgeous hair extensions and still have healthy hair.

The question most customers ask is how many bundles do I need for a Sew-In?

Well, it depends on how full you want it to be. You also need to take into consideration the hairstyle, length, cut, and the size and shape of the head. On average, the magic number is three bundles for a full sew-in. With three bundles from 14” to 20” you will have a full, flowy, and glamorous weave. If you start with 22” sew-ins, you may consider four bundles for the best results.

The longer the length of your bundles, the more hair you are going to need.

For curly hair you can get away with fewer bundles because you have naturally dense hair, 2 to 3 bundles would be enough.

Straight hair has less density compared to wavy hair so for a silky and full look you need a little extra. 3 to 4 bundles is ideal depending on the length.

Rule of thumb, for a full and thick look you will need three to four bundles. If you are going for a natural and tamed hairstyle you will need 2 to 3 bundles.

Different Sew Hairstyles You Can Try
